Mother's Day 2013!!

As on previous Mother's Days, we all decided to meet up in Annapolis for a nice brunch.  This year, I was a little late in making a reservation, and we ended up going to The Broadneck Grill.  This restaurant was a favorite of Chad and I when we lived in Annapolis in 2004-2006.  We knew they had good breakfasts and it was likely to be loud enough to drown out the craziness of our entire family!!  So, we met up with Grandpa, Mee-maw, Grumpa, Grammy, Aunt Sarah, Kevin and Uncle Ryan.  Our waiter was a good sport and we enjoyed a nice LONG brunch.

This year, Chad and I gave our moms photo books that contained pictures from L'ie Bear's 2nd Year Photo Shoot.  They turned out so good, that I decided to make an extra book for myself.  The Bear gave each of her grandmothers a plant for their gardens.  While out shopping for flowers, we had to stop and smell each and every one.  Also, she insisted on buying an extra flower for "B".  It took me a few minutes to realize that "B" meant Aunt Sarah, and we left with three flower pots.

Since it also happened to be my birthday, I made out like a bandit.  I received a relaxation basket and membership to a Yarn Of The Month club from Chad and Lauren, an Otterbox for my iPad (so L'ie Bear won't destroy it) from Grandpa and Mee-maw, a Spa Day from Grumpa and Grammy, and gift cards from Aunt Sarah and Kevin!

I forgot to charge my camera battery, so I was not able to get any photos of the day.  But luckily, Grandpa took some good ones and passed them along for the blog post.  Even though we were not in downtown Annapolis, it was such a beautiful day and I am very glad we were able to celebrate Mother's Day and my birthday with the entire family.
