Snow...Snow...Snow

Just when it seemed like this would be a warm winter again, and L'ie Bear would not get to experience any of the white stuff, the weather turned cold and a few small snow storms blew through the area.

And we discovered that the Bear loves the snow!  The first time she saw snow, none of it really stuck, but there were plenty of snowflakes to run through.  She was anxious to go outside, so Chad and I just put a sweatshirt and shoes over her pjs and gave her a hat and mittens.  She was oblivious to the cold...and enjoyed every minute.

A month later, we woke up to a blanket of snow covering everything in sight.  This time L'ie Bear was so excited, that I was only able to put on her shoes and a coat before she grabbed her Tinkerbell doll and made a dash outside.  After getting used to the feel of snow beneath her feet, she decided that Tink needed to walk around too.

We had a few minutes of fun before I dragged L'ie back inside to put on some mittens and hat.  Then we went back outside to play some more.

A few days later, Chad took L'ie Bear with him to Salisbury for a weekend.  He was working on some projects and wanted to give me a few days of relaxation and quiet.  (Boy was it quiet without L'ie Bear running around and playing in the house).  But, they had a good time in Salisbury.  It snowed the first night they were there, and L'ie got to play outside some more.  Chad even bought some more appropriate snow clothes.

I am glad L'ie Bear finally experienced snow and enjoyed it.  Next year we will have to introduce her to sledding down a hill in the snow.
