Flurries, a Birthday and a Win!

This afternoon, Chad, L'ie Bear and I headed to Annapolis to celebrate Mee-maw's birthday over lunch.  We met up at Ram's Head Tavern, one of our go-to places downtown.  It had been a month since they last saw L'ie and they were amazed at how much she has changed in such a short amount of time.  Meanwhile, the Bear was amazed at how much fun she could have with a gift bag.

Where is the Bear?!?!

Mee-Maw decided to "hide"

After lunch, we noticed some snow flurries and went for a little walk.  L'ie Bear was excited to stretch her legs around town and the rest of us went along, despite the cold.  But, we did manage to get some cute photos and everyone had a great time.

WEEEEEE!

Walking back to the cars.

The Bear needed to hibernate after a busy afternoon.

L'ie Bear was obviously exhausted after seeing Grandpa and Mee-maw, combined with all that time walking around in the cold, so she took a much needed nap.  It was a very late nap, which meant staying up later.  Luckily, the Maryland/Duke game was on and Chad was being very careful about what he said and did while watching the game, so we got in plenty of playtime.  We played with her trains, ran around the house, giggled while peeking at each other through the hearts on her Build-A-Bear box and even watched a little bit of the game.  In an effort to cheer on our beloved Terps, L'ie put her pants on her head.  It worked...the Terps won!!!

Ready to take the pants off after a Terps WIN!!!  WOOO HOOO

After all that excitement and quite a few bedtime books, L'ie Bear practically threw herself into her crib.  It is now 11 pm, I am still in shock over the Maryland win tonight and I just realized that I never had dinner.  But, what a great day!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MEE-MAW & GO TERPS!!!
